Jurgen is responsible for all aspects of Neptune’s environmental system including air, noise and water management and monitoring, and compliance with the conditions set by all Neptune’s regulators including the Port of Vancouver, Environment Canada, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, BC Ministry of Environment, Metro Vancouver, and the City of North Vancouver. As a professional engineer, he also has oversight for the terminal’s engineering direction. Jurgen and his family live on the North Shore, and he values the many things the community offers, from great schools and youth sports organizations to the farmers’ markets and quick access to world-class skiing and mountain biking.
