Community Contributions

As we continue to deal with the pandemic, our community partnerships have become even more important. We’re honoured to have forged new relationships with several local organizations including:
Lynn Valley Services Society: As part of the Bringing People Together initiative, which supports seniors in our community, we’ve donated a Zoom subscription, a new iPad and time with instructors. Low-impact senior-friendly exercise and chair stretch classes, bingo and Trivial Pursuit games offered online ensure our community seniors remain connected to each other and their networks while staying safely at home during the pandemic.
Capilano Community Services: We were thrilled to contribute to the purchase of a new bus to provide essential transportation services to seniors and youth so that they can move around the North Shore safely and efficiently.
North Shore Community Foundation: We’re honoured to have contributed to a campaign organized by North Shore Community Resources that provided local families with turkey dinners for Thanksgiving from Joey’s Restaurant. The meals were distributed by North Shore Neighbourhood House, Parkgate Community Services and others. Yum!
West Vancouver Minor Hockey Association: Our investment into North Shore youth sports continues with a new contribution to the Association’s bursary fund. This fund helps to ensure that kids can still play hockey even when their families are unable to afford the fees.
