Neptune Employees pitch in to bring Christmas cheer to two local families

For the last three years, Neptune employees have been donating Christmas hampers to the North Shore Neighbourhood House’s (NSNH) Young Parents Program. This year, Neptune will be preparing hampers for two young, single-parent families who are participating in the program. Last year’s donations included kitchen supplies, bed linens, towels and two tricycles.

The North Shore Neighbourhood House’s Young Parents Program provides youth between the ages of 13 and 20 with parenting classes, regular group drop-ins, one-on-one support from a family support worker, advocacy and out-trips. It also partners with Mountainside School, helping young parents complete their Grade 12.

Contributing to the North Shore community in meaningful ways is very important to the Neptune team, who have a longstanding partnership with NSNH. We are excited to give back again to this impactful program and thank all of our employees for their generous contributions to make to two families’ holidays cheery and bright.
