Team Neptune Raising Funds for United Way BC
Our team has been raising funds for United Way BC for over a decade now. This year, we switched our fundraising timeline from November to May and were fortunate to kick off the campaign with an impact speaker over a BBQ lunch on a sunny spring day. Trisha Dulku, Strategic Initiatives Manager for Children and Youth at United Way British Columbia, talked to the Neptune team about the United Way's After School Support Program. This inspiring event, with a delicious lunch prepared by Smoke and Bones, marked the beginning of the fundraising drive.
Although donations are open to June 15, as of the end of May, Neptune employees and suppliers had already donated more than $43,500. Over the years, this partnership with the United Way has evolved into something much bigger than just fundraising, and there is now a genuine commitment among employees to give back to the community. Neptune proudly supports all employees to raise funds and is matching dollar for dollar up to $42,500 this year. Donations are encouraged throughout the campaign, with prizes donated by partners and Neptune.
