Building a Stronger North Shore
Neptune Terminals has a longstanding commitment to supporting the people and organizations that help make the North Shore a strong, healthy, and connected place to live and work.
Guided by its community partner strategy, the company’s giving priorities focus on areas where community investment can make a practical and lasting difference: children and youth, seniors, health and safety, the environment, and local community connection. This includes supporting education, team sports, and social programs aimed at young people; programs promoting independence and reduced social isolation for seniors; and environmental initiatives that protect and enhance local species and habitats.
Neptune also recognizes the importance of local events, volunteer-driven organizations and local businesses that bring neighbours together. By being present at community gatherings, sourcing locally where possible and engaging with residents, Neptune works to be an active and responsive neighbour on the North Shore.

PumpkinFest Family Fun
New investments this year reflect this broad approach. Neptune is grateful for the opportunity to support the Tsleil-Waututh Nation Community Society, which provides grants for Member-led aspirations and projects in areas such as education, culture, wellness, the environment and sports. The Society’s work helps Members bring forward ideas rooted in community priorities, including youth athletics, language revitalization, land-based wellness and cultural connection.
Neptune’s recent community giving also includes support for BabyGoRound clients on the North Shore. The organization provides essential baby gear, diapers and clothing to families in need. Investment in North Shore Avalanche reflects Neptune’s focus on children and youth by helping local girls and young women build skills, confidence and connection through hockey. And by supporting PumpkinFest, an event held by Enhance West Van, Neptune helps strengthen a family-friendly community tradition that brings neighbours together and raises funds for local programming.
Together, these partnerships demonstrate Neptune’s belief that community giving is most meaningful when it responds to local needs, strengthens relationships and helps create a healthier, safer and more inclusive North Shore for everyone.
