Spring Sports for North Shore Youth
Youth sports play an important role in the lives of young people. Being part of a team teaches cooperation, perseverance, respect, friendship and so many other values, and Neptune is very proud to support numerous youth leagues across the North Shore. Neptune has a long history of contributing to youth sports to help ensure they are accessible to all who wish to play. Sponsorship is provided to teams or age group divisions for nine different leagues:
- Challenger Baseball
- Highlands Little League
- Lynn Valley Little League
- Mount Seymour Little League
- North Shore Baseball Association
- North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association
- North Shore Girls Soccer Association
- North Vancouver Football Club
- West Vancouver Field Hockey Club
- West Vancouver Little League
“Funding from Neptune goes directly to support our youngest players, notably through contributions to the cost of uniforms,” says Charlotte Burns, the General Manager for West Vancouver Field Hockey. “All of our U6-U10 players have a team shirt, courtesy of Neptune, that helps identify them and support a positive team dynamic. This lowers registration fees so kids have more opportunities to play.”
Neptune also invests in youth sports through Athletics for Kids and KidSport North Shore, which provide grants that help families cover the cost of sport registration fees.
