New Leadership in Marine Logistics
This March, Neptune welcomed Brandon Tang as its new Director of Marine Logistics. Brandon steps into the role with a significant experience in logistics and operations developed across the waterfront and bulk terminal sector. In his new role at Neptune, he is looking forward to learning more about the terminal’s coal and potash systems and the scale of operations as the Port of Vancouver’s largest bulk terminal.
A familiar face on the North Shore waterfront, Brandon says the community feels like a second home after spending several years working locally. He was drawn to Neptune by its strong community focus. “The investment Neptune makes in local groups is remarkable,” says Brandon. “I’m looking forward to learning more, getting to know members of the community, and hopefully leading tours in the future.”
Brandon is taking the helm from Jeff Crawford, who recently retired after 38 years with Neptune. Jeff joined the company in 1988 and became one of its longest-serving employees, helping coordinate the shipment of Canadian steelmaking coal, potash, and other commodities while also supporting shareholders. He also provided expertise and guidance to help the industry navigate the growth and change over the years. We thank Jeff for his decades of leadership and wish him all the best in retirement.
