Terminals Raise Funds for Charity Despite Cancellation of North Shore Waterfront Gala

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 North Shore Waterfront Gala has been cancelled. However, the important needs of the beneficiaries remain, and their services are now more in demand than ever. Instead of holding the annual event, the Gala’s founding sponsors committed to raising $100,000 in donations this year to be shared equally between two beneficiaries, Hollyburn Family Services Youth Safe House and Sharing Abundance.
As of August 19, 2020 we are so pleased to report that the group exceeded the original goal, raising a total of $104,000. A huge thanks to the Port of Vancouver and the Royal Bank of Canada, and our fellow founding sponsors Fibreco Export, Seaspan, Western Stevedoring and Pembina. We thank all our donors, sponsors and past event attendees who have remained committed to these causes during such a challenging year.
